Hyundai Alcazar 2026 Premium 3-Row SUV Gets a New Lounge Edition
Hyundai Alcazar has emerged as one of the brand’s important premium three-row SUVs in India, combining family-friendly practicality with modern technology and multiple powertrain choices. Now, Hyundai has given the Alcazar a more luxurious identity with the introduction of the new Lounge Edition, aimed at buyers who want a more premium rear-seat experience.
New Lounge Edition Brings a Luxury Feel
The biggest highlight of the new Hyundai Alcazar Lounge Edition is its focus on passenger comfort. Hyundai has introduced an integrated 29.46 cm (11.6-inch) rear-seat entertainment system, turning the cabin into a digital entertainment space. The system is designed to support OTT streaming, interactive gaming and access to an app store.
The Lounge Edition also receives exclusive interior treatment, including a premium seat design and Moonwhite ambient lighting. These additions are intended to make the SUV feel closer to a luxury lounge, particularly for passengers travelling in the rear.
Exclusive Five-Seater Configuration
Interestingly, the Alcazar Lounge Edition takes a different approach to the standard three-row layout. Hyundai has introduced an exclusive five-seater lounge-like configuration, prioritising rear passenger comfort and space rather than maximum seating capacity. The top diesel automatic version also gets a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof.
Exterior Design
The regular Alcazar already carries a bold road presence, featuring a dark chrome grille, quad-beam LED headlamps, horizon-style LED positioning lamps and connected LED tail lamps. Higher variants also receive large diamond-cut alloy wheels.
For the Lounge Edition, Hyundai adds distinctive black exterior treatment along with a new Golden Bronze colour option, giving the SUV a more exclusive appearance.
Engine And Transmission Options
The Hyundai Alcazar continues with its established 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engines. Depending on the variant, buyers can choose between a six-speed manual, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and six-speed automatic transmission. The SUV is also available in different seating configurations across its regular range.

Technology and Safety
Technology remains a major strength of the Alcazar. Selected variants feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, premium Bose eight-speaker audio system, Hyundai Bluelink connected-car technology, digital key and wireless smartphone charging.
