Mahindra BE 6 SPORTEQ New Variant Launched
Mahindra has introduced the new Mahindra BE 6 SPORTEQ in India, giving its electric SUV range a fresh technology and lifestyle-focused identity. Launched on August 15, 2026, the new version replaces the outgoing BE 6 and brings a revised variant structure, new 70kWh battery option, upgraded cabin and additional connected features. The new Mahindra BE 6 SPORTEQ starts at ₹19.45 lakh ex-showroom for outright purchase and goes up to ₹26.95 lakh for the range-topping version. Mahindra has also introduced a Battery as a Service, or BaaS, ownership option. Under this plan, the entry price starts at ₹11.45 lakh, while battery usage is charged at ₹3.75 per kilometre.
New 70kWh Battery Option
One of the biggest updates is the introduction of a new 70kWh battery pack. The SPORTEQ is available with 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh battery options across its eight-variant range. The wider choice lets buyers select a battery according to their driving requirements and budget.
Futuristic Triple-Screen Cabin
The interior receives one of the most noticeable upgrades. Higher variants now feature a floating triple-screen dashboard with three 12.3-inch displays. This layout gives the cabin a more premium and futuristic character while improving access to digital information for the driver and front passenger.
The dashboard has also been redesigned with a cleaner horizontal layout. Mahindra has created additional storage space and improved access to the wireless charging pad and USB Type-C ports. The TEQ_xting feature allows owners to display personalized messages on the LED tailgate display. TEQ_Drive adds functions such as Custom Drive Mode, Tribe Drive, Drift Mode, Acceleration Boost and the new Revive SOS feature.
Sporty Exterior Styling
The exterior design remains largely familiar because the SPORTEQ carries forward the distinctive silhouette of the BE 6. However, the new version receives a dedicated Sporteq badge and an exclusive Graphite Storm finish for the Launch Edition. Depending on the variant, buyers can also get 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, flush-fitting door handles and a panoramic glass roof.
