Introduction

Representing Hero's foray into the 125cc segment, the Xtreme 125R draws inspiration from the successful Xtreme 160R platform, sharing its distinctive design and features. Geared towards providing a sporty and stylish riding experience, particularly for the urban youth, this bike is poised to make a significant impact.

Variants and Color Options

Enthusiasts can opt for either the single disc variant, equipped with a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake, or the dual disc variant, featuring a 276mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake. Both variants come standard with single-channel ABS. The Xtreme 125R offers a choice of four captivating colors: red, blue, black, and grey.

With a 12-litre fuel tank, the Xtreme 125R is expected to deliver a commendable mileage of 55 kmpl. The bike's kerb weight is projected to be 143 kg for the single disc variant and 145 kg for the dual disc variant.

Feature

The Xtreme 125R boasts a plethora of features, including LED headlamp and tail lamp, digital instrument cluster, side stand engine cut-off, i3S start-stop system, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, as well as call and message alerts.

Wheel Size and Weight

Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tires, the Xtreme 125R features a front tire size of 100/80-17 and a rear tire size of 130/70-17. The bike's wheelbase measures 1325mm, and it offers a ground clearance of 167mm.

Competition

Competing with other premium commuter bikes such as the Honda SP 125Bajaj Pulsar NS125TVS Raider 125, among others, the Xtreme 125R aims to carve its niche in the market. While details are yet to be officially confirmed, the anticipation surrounding this new offering from Hero MotoCorp is palpable.

Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Is Launched In India

Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Is Launched In India

Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Price In India Starts Rs 13.49 Lakh Ex Showroom.

The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX continues the legacy of its predecessor, the Ninja 1000SX, by offering a balanced blend of sportiness and touring comfort. With a displacement increase to 1,099cc, the inline four-cylinder engine delivers enhanced mid-range torque, improving real-world performance. Despite this, peak power has slightly decreased from 140 bhp to 134 bhp, though this reduction is scarcely noticeable during typical riding scenarios.

The Ninja 1100SX SE variant introduces notable upgrades, including an Öhlins rear shock absorber and Brembo M4 front brake calipers. These enhancements contribute to a more refined ride, offering improved comfort and control, particularly during spirited riding. However, some reviewers have noted that the absence of electronic suspension, as seen on models like the Versys 1100 SE, is a missed opportunity for added versatility.

In terms of handling, the Ninja 1100SX maintains its reputation for agility and stability. Its sportier dimensions and lower profile facilitate responsive steering, making it feel almost as nimble as a 1,000cc sportbike. The bike's weight and relaxed front-end geometry contribute to a planted and dependable feel, especially when cornering.

Comfort remains a strong suit for the Ninja 1100SX. The riding position is conducive to long-distance travel, and the adjustable windscreen provides effective wind protection. Additionally, the bike is equipped with modern amenities such as cruise control, heated grips, and a color TFT display with smartphone connectivity via Kawasaki’s Rideology app.

In summary, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX and its SE variant offer a compelling package for riders seeking a versatile sport-touring motorcycle. The engine's increased torque, combined with chassis and comfort enhancements, make it a worthy successor in Kawasaki's lineup. However, potential buyers should consider the absence of electronic suspension in the SE model when evaluating their options.
