JSW MG Motor India has expanded its premium electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the MG Cyberster, an all-electric two-door convertible sports car that combines futuristic technology with exhilarating performance. The Cyberster is available in India with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 82.49 lakh, while the newly introduced Cyberster Couture Edition has been priced at Rs 87.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Couture Edition is limited to just 50 units and has been created in collaboration with renowned fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, making it one of the most exclusive electric sports cars in the country.
The MG Cyberster is the flagship model under the company's premium MG Select retail network, which focuses on luxury electric mobility. With its sleek roadster styling, scissor doors, and open-top driving experience, the Cyberster aims to attract enthusiasts looking for a high-performance EV that stands apart from conventional luxury cars.

Inspired by MG's rich sports car heritage, the Cyberster features a bold exterior design with a low-slung stance, aerodynamic bodywork, full-width LED lighting, and distinctive arrow-shaped rear LED taillamps. The electrically operated fabric roof can be opened or closed within seconds, allowing drivers to enjoy open-air motoring with ease. The dramatic scissor doors further enhance the sports car's visual appeal and make every arrival a statement.
Inside the cabin, the Cyberster offers a driver-focused cockpit loaded with modern technology. Performance
Power comes from a 77 kWh battery pack paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that produces approximately 503 PS and 725 Nm of peak torque. This enables the electric roadster to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, placing it among the quickest electric cars available in India. MG claims a driving range of up to 580 km on a single charge under the applicable testing cycle, making it practical for both weekend getaways and everyday driving.
Charging
Charging convenience has also been prioritised. The Cyberster supports fast DC charging, allowing the battery to recover a significant amount of range in a short period, while home AC charging ensures overnight replenishment for regular use.
Safety
Safety remains a major highlight of the electric sports car. The Cyberster comes equipped with multiple airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, and several Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These features help deliver confidence without compromising the excitement expected from a performance roadster.
The newly launched Cyberster Couture Edition introduces exclusive cosmetic enhancements inspired by high-fashion craftsmanship. Developed with designer Gaurav Gupta, the limited-edition model features bespoke interior detailing, unique design accents, premium finishes, and exclusive styling elements while retaining the same powerful electric drivetrain. Only 50 units of this edition will be produced, increasing its exclusivity among collectors and luxury car buyers.
