Toyota Kirloskar Motor Sales September 2026 Total Sales Reach 28,218 Units, YTD Growth Remains Strong
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has maintained a strong overall sales performance in India during the first nine months of 2026, with The company reporting total sales of 28,218 units in September 2026. The figure includes 25,027 units sold in the domestic market and 3,191 units exported to international markets. While September was a comparatively softer month, Toyota’s cumulative performance for January to September remained firmly positive, highlighting continued customer confidence in the brand.
According to Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the company sold 2,94,914 units between January and September 2026, compared with 2,72,824 units during the corresponding period of 2025. This represents an impressive 8% year-on-year increase. Domestic sales played the biggest role in this growth, reaching 2,69,619 units during the first nine months, up 9% from 2,47,081 units recorded in the same period last year.
Toyota’s export performance during January-September 2026 stood at 25,295 units. Although exports were slightly lower than the 25,743 units shipped during the corresponding period of 2025, the company’s overall sales continued to benefit from strong domestic demand.
The September performance also demonstrates the broad appeal of Toyota’s product portfolio in India. The company has established a strong presence across several vehicle segments, offering products ranging from premium hatchbacks and compact SUVs to MPVs, SUVs and luxury vehicles. Models such as the Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Glanza, Rumion and Hilux continue to strengthen Toyota’s presence across different customer groups.
