Hero MotoCorp sales in May 2026, with Splendor, HF Deluxe and Glamour continuing to dominate the company sales
Hero MotoCorp maintained its dominance in the Indian two-wheeler market during May 2026, posting total sales of 5,70,068 units. Domestic sales stood at 5,36,784 units, while exports surged to 33,284 units. Motorcycles remained the backbone of Heroâs business, contributing more than 5 lakh units during the month.
While the company has not officially released a detailed model-wise breakup for May 2026, industry estimates and recent sales trends indicate that the brandâs commuter motorcycles continued to drive the bulk of volumes. Heroâs strongest performers included the Splendor, HF Deluxe, Glamour, Passion range and the fast-growing Xtreme lineup.
The undisputed king of Heroâs portfolio remains the Hero Splendor. In April 2026, the motorcycle recorded sales of more than 3.09 lakh units and accounted for nearly 58 percent of Heroâs domestic sales. Given Heroâs overall growth in May, industry analysts believe Splendor remained comfortably above the 3 lakh unit mark and continued to be Indiaâs best-selling motorcycle.
The second-largest contributor was the Hero HF Deluxe. The affordable commuter bike has consistently remained one of the companyâs volume generators. In April 2026, it sold close to 92,000 units and retained its position as Heroâs second-best-selling motorcycle. Strong rural demand and low running costs helped maintain its popularity in May as well.
The Hero Glamour continued to perform strongly in the 125cc segment. The motorcycle has benefited from increasing customer demand for more powerful commuter bikes. Heroâs financial results also highlighted that the Glamour was among the key models driving double-digit growth in the 125cc category during FY2026.
Another important contributor was the Hero Passion Plus, which remained a preferred choice among buyers looking for a stylish commuter motorcycle. Although its volumes were lower than Splendor and HF Deluxe, the model maintained steady demand across several markets.
Heroâs premium and sporty segment also witnessed growth. The Xtreme 125R and other Xtreme motorcycles continued attracting younger riders. The company has been expanding its presence in the premium commuter category, and the Xtreme range played a significant role in that strategy. Industry reports suggest that the Xtreme family remained among Heroâs fastest-growing motorcycle lineups in 2026.
Apart from motorcycles, Heroâs scooter portfolio also recorded impressive growth. The Destini 125 emerged as one of the companyâs strongest scooter performers, while the Vida electric scooter continued gaining traction in the EV segment. Scooter sales more than doubled compared to the previous year, highlighting Heroâs growing presence beyond traditional commuter motorcycles.
